Nahoko Kakiage – Certifyd™

Ringmasters Composers Certifyd Programme

Introduction

The winner of Annual Locarno International Film Festivals Media Performance Award, Nahoko Kakiage has maintained a momentum that has been fueled by her love for music which can be seen reflected directly in her music over the years. In 1992, she formed OPERA and went on to performing countless festivals throughout Europe. Her work rapidly spread in Japan and in 1996, signed with Epic Records and Pony Canyon producing  albums that span many styles and genres.
Her talent does not end as just a skilled vocal performer. As she earns more fame and credibility she is commissioned to compose and orchestrate theme songs in popular TV series for Fuji Television as well as NHK. She is a queen on and behind the stage. From performer to writer and editor to engineer she retains a charisma that is only seen in a handful of Artists. Her solo album was crafted entirely by her own hands which makes it particularly personal and she mixes electro, triphop and classical styles to make a truly unique and boundless realm of cross-over music.
